When: Saturday March 6, 2010

What:
White & blue block dress: Christmas present from my parents
Patterned tights: Marshalls
Black booties: Payless Shoe Source
Black Liz Claiborne purse: TJ Max
Colorful scarf: Present from my parents
Floral headband: Via Vai (Panama)

Where: Shopped at a HUGE mall (found sooo many treasures!) & watched Alice in Wonderland.

Comments:
Today was an absolute wonderful day! For the 6th day of the Disney Challenge, I chose Alice in Wonderland since today I was going to watch the movie! I felt that this block dress really resembled the original Alice's dress. I added the patterned tights to give it a more modern and crazy look (Wonderland is a crazy place after all!)

I also added this floral black headband to resemble the black ribbon she wears in her hair. I wore that bow in her hair as a necklace instead :)

As I said before, today was a wonderful day! I found THE best things when we went shopping (I still can't stop smiling). We also went to an IMAX movie theater to watch Alice in Wonderland. It was the first time I ever watched a movie in 3-d.... let me tell you something: Waaaoooooo.

The graphics and the magic of the movie was spectacular! I absolutely loooved all the colors and creativity. I reaaalllyyy enjoyed it! My favorite character in this movie was definitely the Cheshire cat. He was soooo cool!

It was definitely a good movie in my opinion. But you
have to watch it in 3-d to really feel the magic. Has anyone else watched it? Who was your favorite character?

Here are all the ways in which I've worn this dress:

  4. This has to be my favorite outfit of yours so far in this series (even though Beauty and the Beast is my favorite movie, no lie-- that outfit was cute too)! I really love how you used the black bow as a necklace. :)

  6. Cute dress and you look so much like Alice... now I wonder if you are in the land... one of dad's jokes but not as good. I enjoyed coming here several times to see if you had posted your outfit for the day. I always wonder what character you are going to chose for the day. This is a perfect one since you went to see the movie also.
