Is it me or are the colors and lighting of these pictures just fabulous?! I'm always so so sooo happy when I manage to take pictures that look this bright and clear.

For some reason, I feel that the pictures I take in Panama (my home country) don't turn out as bright and colorful. I know it's not the photogropher because my mom is fabulous!.. Maybe the U.S. has the "good" sun and Panama has the "bad" sun... jaja who knows!

What do you think is the best time of the day to take pictures?

Here are all the ways in which I've worn this floral dress:

  1. Cute ever as ever Marie. You know where they have FABULOUS sun? Tahiti! When my hubby and I vacationed there in 2005 I had the best time and came back golden. Here in Hawaii, when I tan in the sun my color is more "brown" than golden. Ahhhh I can't wait to go back! Tahiti (Moorea + Bora Bora) is such a beautiful place!

  2. I am guessing it's just the different types of green... Panama green hues seem much darker !

  3. I love that cardigan! It's so cute! And your ring and earrings are so pretty!

I don't know why your photos in Panama looked different, but it did seem like you got a bit of a halo effect on a lot of them! That's okay though, they still looked good!

  4. Later in the day is usually my preferred time. If I can time it right, I can get the really lovely rim lighting. but as long as the sun isn't right overhead and super bright, things will be okay.

  6. You have so much color and print in your wardrobe. It certainly reflects what I assume is your colorful and positive personality. I've been behind in reading your posts in my blog reader, but just caught up. Love it.

  10. Oh, I love that dress! Those shoes are absolutely amazing too.

I can't offer any lighting suggestions - I have to take mine before I leave for work regardless of the lighting. That's not going to work well for me after the time change when it's still dark when I leave!
