When: Monday February 28, 2011

Floral dress: ? (Panama)
White collar shirt: Conway (Panama)
Purple wedges: Stevens (Panama)
Purple purse: Borrowed from my mom

Had a delicious Chinese breakfast with my girl friends in the morning and ran errands with my mom in the afternoon.

Today I am wearing these cute lilac colored wedges for the very first time! The funny part though is that I actually have these same wedges in several different colors. I have them in lilac, pink, yellow, and beige! I liked them so much that I decided to buy them in nearly every color offered! hahaha.

So today is the last day of the Fabulous in February challenge. This challenge has really made me think hard of what I love about myself! So here are three more things I love about myself:

1. I love that I don't care about what other people think of me. After many many years of experience, I have learned that the most important thing is to be comfortable in your own skin and to live your life the way you want to no matter what other people think of you. Panama is a place that doesn't think out of the box when it comes to fashion (colorful tights is a big no no here); so I have had to learn to just dress the way I want to no matter what nasty weird looks I get throughout the day. And thanks to this I-don't-care-what-you-think-about-me attitude, I have become very happy and true to myself.

2. I love my determination. When I set myself a goal, I like to see it through all the way to the end. I try my best to not be mediocre and finish all of my projects (even if it takes a looooong time).

3. I love "me". It's hard to pinpoint three things I love about myself because I love myself as a whole. I accept all my good traits as well as my bad ones... I love that I have learned how to accept myself.

So those are my last three things that I love about myself... Phew, that was hard! Anyway, thank you Melissa for hosting such a great challenge!

Do you ever buy an item you like in several different colors?

Here are all the ways in which I've worn this floral dress:

  1. You have a very sweet/feminine look to you. :)

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

and I voted for Marie Antonietta look!

  2. I have bought some of the same clothing in different colors. Though then I get tired of the shape or Though that usually doesn't happen with shoes or purses.
    Cute outfit btw! :)

  3. Those are adorable! I am so jealous of your cute springy outfit! And I'm curious as to what a Chinese breakfast is?!!

  4. Love all the remixes of the dress! You look really classy and elegant in this one:)

  5. Your happy thoughts have been fun to read! Thanks for sharing them. I love the colors in this dress, I hardly even noticed your shoes. he he... have a nice day!

  6. I think it's a great rule of thumb to buy something in every color if you really like it. And those are super cute!

I've really enjoyed getting to know you better through this challenge. I wish I could meet you in person! :)

  7. AH! I really like those lilac wedges!

You have a new follower! I'd really appreciate it if you could follow me back :)

    Have a great day!

  8. I'm a big fan of buying multiples - if you find something that works for you, why not get them in different colors? I have four pairs of the same flats in different colors because they are seriously the most comfy and cute shoes ever!

  9. I love all the color in this outfit. It's almost overwhelming because everything's been so gray where I am. It was kind of like a springy punch in the face :P

  10. What a GREAT one to end on (I wish I would've thought of it!! haha ;))!! It's been really nice getting to know you throughout this month and I'm so happy you participated! :)

  11. I've been wanting to wear a shirt tied like that, but for some reason I always forget.
I totally agree with you, you have to dress for yourself -
