Closet Inventory: Shoe-Addict for sure :)

06 June 11 - Sugar Doll Award (12)
**This is a pretty old picture of my shoe collection. Now there are a lot less sneakers and a lot more high heels :)

A lovely (and very patient) reader once asked me to post an inventory list of all of my items of clothing and accessories. As fun as that sounds (and it does sound fun, I love making lists!), I truly have so many things that it would be really hard to list them all. So, I thought that a good substitute would be to post an inventory of my vast shoe collection!

Let me start by saying that I have A LOT of shoes (to say I'm a shoe addict would be a true understatement). In my defense, shoes are very inexpensive here in Panama (I'm talking about $10-$15 shoes!!) and I keep shoes for many many years (I have shoes as old as 8 years old!).

Anyway, here is the list of shoes I own organized by color. Click on each link if you want to see an outfit of me wearing each shoe. Hope you like it!

  7. Wow! That is incredible! Even if I had that many pairs of shoes, I have no place to put them! My shoes currently live under the bed since our tiny apartment doesn't come with a shoe closet. Sigh...

But seeing all your shoes put a big smile on my face!

  9. Love the shoes, but can you explain how you store them all? I have a lot of shoes and need ideas for keeping them from taking over my apartment!

  14.  Hello Heather! Aaw, I'm sorry if you asked that before and I didn't answer. I must have missed that comment. Sorry about that.

Well, I had someone make a bunch of shelves in my bedroom to store all my shoes. Something like this: http://shoe-closet.closetsyste...    .

So basically, it's just a bunch of shelves and I put the shoes on top
of it. I color code my shoes, so all the blacks with the blacks, all
the reds with the reds, etc. I also store many of my shoes in
transparent plastic bags to avoid dust falling on them.

Someday I'll get around to taking a nice picture of my shoe-closet.
Until then, I hope this brief explanation helps! Have a great day :)

  17. You do have lots of shoes :). I used to have lots, too, but gave away many pairs since then. Shoes take up lots of storage space.  However, if I would to purchase only one item this spring, it would be a pair of shoes :D.

  19. It's kind of funny - my grandmother says it's a "SIN TO HAVE SO MANY SHOES"
I had a little over one hundred and DID feel guilty about it - now I have downsized to about 80 but just this weekend I was in NY and bought 4 more pairs.... it's a healthy addiction - I guess.
