The Nutcracker Ballet

Dec 28 (1)

 Friday December 28, 2012

Today I went to go see the Nutcracker ballet! I was having a hard time deciding what to wear. But then I thought, "what could be easier than black and white with a pop of color". And thus, this outfit was born :)

 {Polka dot dress: Saks (Panama)  ;  Shirt-dress (worn as jacket): Sooooo old who knows  ;  Heels: Payless Shoe Source (old)  ;  Clutch: Present from my parents  ;  Earrings: Forever21.com}

The Nutcracker ballet was absolutely amazing. I have never seen such professional and talented ballet dancers, I was totally impressed.

Apart from the amazing choreography, I was totally in looooooooooove with the costumes! Each costume had so many rich details, fabrics, and designs.

I was particularly impressed with the couple dances. All of their movements were so graceful and beautiful.

Believe it or not, I have never seen the Nutcracker before nor do I know its story. So it was a real treat to finally see what it is all about. It was completely magical!
